NextGenDL respects the intellectual property rights of content creators and copyright holders. We comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and respond promptly to valid copyright infringement notices.
NextGenDL is a tool that processes publicly available URLs submitted by users. We do not host, store, or distribute Instagram content on our servers beyond the brief processing window required to serve a user's download request (typically under 3 minutes).
2How to Submit a DMCA Notice
If you believe that your copyrighted work has been made accessible through our service in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, please send a written DMCA takedown notice containing all of the following information:
- Your full legal name and contact information (email address and/or phone number).
- A description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
- The specific URL or link on our service that you believe is infringing.
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in your notice is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on behalf of the owner.
- Your electronic or physical signature.

We respond to valid DMCA notices within 3–5 business days.
3What Happens After We Receive Your Notice
Upon receiving a valid DMCA notice, NextGenDL will:
- Review the notice for completeness and validity.
- Take reasonable steps to address the specific infringement identified.
- Respond to you within 3–5 business days to confirm the action taken.
Please note: Because NextGenDL does not permanently host Instagram videos, most content is automatically removed from our servers within minutes after a download request. If the content you are concerned about is on Instagram itself, you should also file a report directly with Instagram via their copyright reporting tool.
4Counter-Notice
If you believe your content was removed or disabled due to a mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice. A valid counter-notice must include:
- Your name, address, and contact information.
- Identification of the material removed and its location before removal.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed by mistake.
- Your consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for your judicial district.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
5Repeat Infringers
NextGenDL reserves the right to block access to users or IP addresses that are found to repeatedly infringe on the copyright rights of others, in accordance with the DMCA safe harbor provisions.
6False Claims
Under Section 512(f) of the DMCA, any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing may be subject to liability for damages. Do not submit a DMCA notice if you are not certain that the material is infringing your copyright.
